Sacred Lotus

Today we are going to make Lotus also known as the sacred lotus. Lunar new year is coming up, so I think it is a great opportunity to make an asian flower. In my culture, we consume different parts of Lotus, Seeds for sweet pastries, Root is a type of vegetable, Flower as herbal tea, even leaves to enhance the fragrance of the rice. We will teach you step by step so you can make it even you are a beginner.

What you need
Crepe papers in Leaf Green, White / Beige / Pale Pink, Pale Green
Pan Pastel in Hansa Yellow & Magenta
Card Stock Paper
Floral wire in 18 & 20 gauge
a pair of flat pliers and wire cutter
a pair of Tweezers
a pair of scissors
Paper clips
